Brussels, 14/04/2014 (Agence Europe) - The EU-wide “sweep” in June 2013 of travel websites is proving productive. On Monday 14 April, the Commission indicated that, thanks to the concerted action by member states and the European Commission, 173 travel sites of the 382 identified as failing to comply with EU consumer law (out of a total of 552 screened), are now legally compliant. The Commission explained that this result is down to vigorous enforcement action.
