Brussels, 02/04/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 2 April, the European Commission levied fines of more than €30 million on three producers of steel abrasives, Winoa, Metalltechnik Schmidt and Eisenwerk Würt, for participating in a cartel to fix prices in Europe for more than six years. French company Winoa was fined more than €27 million, and German companies Metalltechnick Schmidt and Eisenwerk Würth were fined more than €2 million and around €1 million respectively.
