Brussels, 11/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 10 March, MEPs approved new rules to withdraw dangerous psychoactive substances from the market rapidly - substances known as legal highs. MEPs want to ban these substances in the public domain, while ensuring that trade for industrial and commercial uses is not hindered. Criminals who breach the ban on severe risk substances could face up to ten years in jail.
