EP supports broader seizure of profits of crime

Brussels, 25/02/2014 (Agence Europe) - Meeting in Strasbourg on Tuesday 25 February, the MEPs toughened the proposed directive presented by the European Commission aiming to freeze and confiscate the assets of organised crime groups, in order to cut their profits and their funding streams.
