On 6 December, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that it would be lending €80 million to finance the expansion of Zagreb Airport in Croatia, comprising the design and construction of a new passenger terminal building. This is the first EIB project developed under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) financing in the Western Balkans. (OL/transl.fl)
