Brussels, 14/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - Spain is looking to put pressure on MEPs so that they approve the fisheries agreement with Morocco that was thrown out the first time round at the end of 2011. Agriculture Minister Miguel Arias Canete has made it an “affair of state”. The media report that in his comments he has warned against the “sometimes extreme” views which deny the “legitimate” and “historic” right of Spanish fishermen.
