Parliament calls for use of Mobility Instrument for 2014 budget

Brussels, 03/10/2013 (Agence Europe) - On 3 October, the European Parliament's budgets committee voted on the 2,300 or so amendments lodged for the draft EU budget for 2014, reversing cuts in funding introduced by the Council of Ministers in July for future spending (investment to boost growth and jobs). It also restored commitment appropriations initially suggested by the Commission, and suggests using the Flexibility Instrument to raise €223 million for Cohesion (1b) and Heading 4...
