17/07/2013 (Agence Europe) - Ashton meets negotiators from E3+3 Group. On Tuesday 16 July, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton - along with the EU's political director, Helga Schmid - met the political leaders of the E3+3 (Germany, France, United Kingdom and China, United States, Russia) in order to “look at how best we can move forward in trying to find a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear issue”, Ashton stated in a press release. She added: “We wait now for the team to be appointed by Iran. We very much hope that will be soon and we look forward to meeting with them as soon as possible”. (CG/transl.fl)
