Brussels, 17/06/2013 (Agence Europe) - Europe is at the crossroads in terms of gender equality and has reached an average core of 54 on the new Gender Equality Index set out by the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) and the European Commission presented on Thursday 13 June. In this indicator, 1 stands for no gender equality and 100 for full gender equality.
