On 2 May, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton announced that six new heads of EU delegation had been appointed. Malena Mard from Sweden has been appointed head of the EU delegation in Azerbaijan. Cesare de Montis, of Italy, has been appointed head of delegation in Kyrgyzstan. Their Spanish colleague, Alberto Navarro, takes the head of EU delegation in the Domincan Republic. The new head of delegation in Paraguay will be Alessandro Palmero from Italy. Ketil Karlsen, of Denmark, has been appointed head of delegation in Honduras. Lastly, David Daly from Ireland has been appointed head of delegation in Sri Lanka. (CG/transl.fl)
