Brussels, 26/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 26 March, the European Commission proposed new regulations for a 30% reduction in the cost of deploying high speed broadband roll-out. Civil engineering, such as the digging up of roads to lay fibre, accounts for up to 80% of the cost of deploying high-speed networks.
