Reopening of Japanese market to European beef

Brussels, 06/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has welcomed Japan's decision to lift non-tariff trade barriers on its market ahead of free-trade negotiations.

On 1 February, Japan officially authorised the import of beef meat from animals aged less than 30 months old from France and the Netherlands.
