Brussels, 04/02/2013 (Agence Europe) - Morocco and the EU have arranged another meeting, in Rabat on 11-12 February, to continue their negotiations (at expert level at this stage) on the conclusion of a new bilateral fisheries agreement. The decision to convene another meeting was taken at the end of the fourth round of negotiations in Brussels on 30 January-1 February. These discussions focused on the scale of fishing quotas and the financial compensation to be paid by the EU. According to statements made to the Moroccan media, the discussions appear to be generating a certain amount of optimism about their outcome. (FB/transl.fl)
