19/12/2012 (Agence Europe) - Yves Mersch to be jointly responsible for Banking Union. The ECB has announced that Yves Mersch, the governor of the Bank of Luxembourg who was recently appointed to the European Central Bank Executive Council (see EUROPE 10737) will be jointly responsible with Vitor Constancio for the Banking Union project.
