22/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - Mergers: VTB Bank-Corporate Commercial Bank/Bulgarian Telecommunications. On 22 October 2012, the European Commission authorised the joint acquisition of Bulgarian telecoms and broadcasting service provider Telecommunications Company AD by Russian bank OAO VTB Bank and Bulgarian bank Corporate Commercial Bank AD. The deal was examined using the expedited merger control system. (FG/transl.fl)
