On Thursday 18 October, Armenia and the European Union signed, in Brussels, a preliminary agreement on visa facilitation for Armenian citizens and on the readmission, by Yerevan, of its migrants that entered the EU illegally. The facilitation regime will allow some categories of Armenian nationals to travel to the EU more easily and at less cost. The agreement is to be endorsed early 2013. (SP/transl.jl)
