02/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - EIB loan to Banco Santander for onlending to small businesses. On 21 September, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a €200 million loan to Banco Santander, which will be lent on to small and medium-sized companies or micro-enterprises for investment purposes. Banco Santander will itself provide a further €200 million so that the total finance for small businesses under this scheme will be some €400 million. (OL/transl.fl)
