Brussels, 30/05/2012 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 30 May, the European Commission suggested lifting the excess deficit proceedings against Bulgaria and Germany because the two countries' budget policies are sustainable enough to allow more relaxed surveillance. The Commission president, José Manuel Durão Barroso, said he would be recommending that the excess deficit proceedings against the two countries be lifted. (MB/transl.fl)
