Brussels, 25/04/2012 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Tuesday 24 April that it had decided to close the pelagic fishery by EU vessels in the waters of Mauritania, as the annual EU quota set in the EU-Mauritania fisheries agreement is nearly exhausted.
