On Thursday 5 April, Robert Cooper, EU facilitator for the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, condemned the attack on the Serbian delegation convoy the previous day, in Pristina. The convoy was carrying officials to a meeting on implementation of the dialogue agreements between Belgrade and Pristina. “Such acts do not comply with the spirit of the dialogue”, said Cooper, recalling that the EU will continue to facilitate dialogue and that “it needs to be clear (…) that this dialogue is not only about reaching agreements but more importantly about implementation and real delivery to benefit people on both sides”. Implementation is also a “key requirement” for Serbia and Kosovo's progress towards European integration, he said. (CG/transl.jl)
