08/02/2012 (Agence Europe) - First Masters in GNSS from September. With the market for goods and services based on a satellite navigation expected to be worth €250 billion by 2030, according to forecasts by the European Agency for the GNSS (GSA), demand for highly qualified jobs will intensify. A Masters degree in science specialising in the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is expected to be part of the syllabus at the beginning of the next academic year, in an effort to prepare highly qualified experts who are skilled in this area. This French initiative taken by the École nationales de l'aviation civile (ENAC) and the Institut supérieur de l'aéronautique et de l'espace (ISAE) aims to provide advanced training in the satellite positioning and applications, which will be complemented with six months on-the-job training in industry.
