Brussels, 26/01/2012 (Agence Europe) - On 24 January, the Ecofin Council adopted a decision authorising Sweden to apply a reduced rate of electricity tax for households and service sector companies situated in specified municipalities in the north of the country, in order to offset heating costs which are 25% higher than in the rest of the country.
