Brussels, 13/01/2012 (Agence Europe) - Concerned by the recent gas dispute between Russia and Ukraine following Kiev's decision to reduce its Russian gas purchases by half in 2012, Commissioner Günther Oettinger was able, on Friday 13 January during a phone call to Ukraine's Energy Minister Yuri Boyko, to receive assurance that this would not have an impact on the transit of gas bought in Russia by the EU.
