EU condemns attack against UN peacekeepers

Brussels, 12/12/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 9 December, the high representative strongly condemned the bombing of a United Nations Interim Force vehicle in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The attack injured five French UN peacekeepers and two civilians. Catherine Ashton offered “her sympathy to the French soldiers who were injured and their families as well as the people and government of France”, emphasised the spokesperson for the high representative, who also added that “this third incident...
