EU High representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton said on Tuesday 6 December that she was “horrified” by the two attacks in Afghanistan earlier that same day, one of which targeted a Shiite shrine in Kabul during a Shiite Ashuna procession, killing 55 people.
