Ashton welcomes Lebanon's contribution to special tribunal

Brussels, 01/12/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 30 November, high representative of the EU for foreign affairs welcomed the announcement by Prime Minister Najib Mikati that Lebanon has paid its contribution to the 2011 budget of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. “I welcome this positive step, in line with previous commitments by the Lebanese authorities that Lebanon would continue to respect its international obligations.
