On Thursday 24 November, the European Commission granted clearance to the acquisition by Vendôme Commerces and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) of joint control of a department store building located in Toulon. Vendôme Commerces, a subsidiary of the Axa Group, is a real estate company. CDC is a French public body that carries out missions of general interest, on the one hand, and activities open to competition, on the other.
