Surveillance stepped up on imports of rice from China

Brussels, 15/11/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Union is to step up its controls on imports of rice products from China as there is more and more GMO-contaminated rice without authorisation entering the EU, detected in cargoes of Chinese rice imports.
