Labour market should be opened up to new job seekers

Brussels, 25/10/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has called for the European labour market to be opened up to Bulgarian and Romanian citizens by the end of the year. By adopting the report by Traian Ungureanu (EPP, Romania) on “measures to promote the mobility of workers within the European Union”, on Tuesday 25 October, MEPs called on EU member states to revise restrictions they had put in place on access to their labour markets.
