Brussels, 20/10/2011 (Agence Europe) - Although the launch of the first two Galileo satellites had been announced for Thursday 20 October at midday, this was postponed until the next day, Friday 21 October, at the same time. The announcement of deferral came hardly one hour before firing. The reason given for interrupting the countdown was an “anomaly detected during fuelling of the Soyuz launcher's third stage”.
