Polish Presidency says EU treaty change is needed

Warsaw, 19/10/2011 (Agence Europe) - Poland has not ruled out a change to the European treaty if it creates greater budget discipline. If a treaty change can get every eurozone nation and every euro candidate country to introduce restrictions on debt of, say 60% of GDP, then of course it should be done, said the Polish under-secretaryfor European affairs at a press conference in Warsaw on Tuesday 28 October.
