Brussels, 30/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - Wind energy can contribute very substantially to achieving the EU's commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80-95% by 2050. In a report to be published next month, the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) says that 50% of total electricity production in the EU could come from wind energy by 2050.
