According to estimates published by Eurostat on Wednesday 15 June, seasonally-adjusted industrial production rose by 0.2% in the eurozone and by 0.1% in the EU in April 2011 compared to March 2011. In March, production remained stable in the eurozone and fell by 0.2% in the EU. Taken annually (April 2011/April 2010), industrial production was up 5.2% in the eurozone and 4.7% in the EU.
