Thoughts turn to possible European internal security service

Brussels, 01/04/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is considering a possible new internal security body, along similar lines to the European External Action Service (EEAS), Commission Counter-Terrorism Director Olivier Luyckx told the European Parliament on 30 March, the EUobserver reports. According to Luyckx, all the existing agencies, Europol, Eurojust, Cepol and Frontex, would be brought together under the control of European Counter-Terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove....
