Brussels, 24/02/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 24 February, the EU Council of Ministers adopted texts which will allow implementation of the new fisheries partnership agreement between the EU and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé e Príncipe. The three-year agreement allows 28 tuna seiners (16 Spanish and 12 French) and 12 surface longliners from the EU to fish for tuna in the waters of that country.
