Brussels, 28/01/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 27 January, the European Commission deemed that Bulgaria, Denmark, Cyprus and Finland have taken satisfactory measures to curb their public deficits and therefore the next stage of the excess deficit proceedings against them (launched at the July 2010 ECOFIN Council) does not need to be taken (see EUROPE 10180).
