19/01/2011 (Agence Europe) - Sixth round of EU-Canada negotiations. European Commission and Canadian negotiators will meet in Brussels this week for the sixth round of negotiations on a comprehensive economic and trade agreement between the EU and Canada. In December of last year, European Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht and Canadian Trade Minister Peter Van Loan assessed progress in the talks which were opened in 2009 (see EUROPE 10279).
