27/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has decided to grant a €100 million loan to fund the provision of school material throughout Greece. This is the first instalment of a €200 million loan, which will mainly be used for the construction and renovation of many schools and sports facilities for schoolchildren. Improving school buildings is one of the top priorities of Greece's education policy. (O.L./transl.jl)
