Brussels, 08/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 7 October, the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition of Austrian paper merchant Europapier by pulp producer Heinzel, also of Austria. Europapier, a subsidiary of Mondi group, employs 770 people and operates largely in Russia as well as in Central and Eastern Europe, where it has warehouses and a network of trade representatives.
