Group of NGOs concerned about ACTA impact on access to medicines writes to Commissioner De Gucht

Brussels, 29/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - NGOs of all kinds - civil, development or those active in the health sector - are leaping to criticise what they see as the unacceptable Anti Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) which, since 2007, has been under secret negotiation between the EU, Australia, Canada, Japan, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
