Brussels, 28/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - Using the European Civil Protection Mechanism, the EU has provided practical help to Hungary and Poland to help them cope with huge floods following heavy downfalls of rain. Poland was hit first by the flooding, shortly followed by Hungary.
