28/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 28 April, the European Commission authorised the proposed concentration whereby Bain Capital Invstors LLC (United States) plans to acquire full control of the company Styron LLC and Styron Holding BV (United States) by way of purchase of shares. Bain Capital is a private equity investment firm. Styron is a manufacturer of latexes, synthetic rubber and certain plastics products.
