Médecins Sans Frontières wants withdrawal of provisions in future EU/India FTA that block access to medicines

Brussels, 26/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - Negotiations between the EU and India resume this week in Brussels at the ninth negotiating session for a free trade agreement (FTA) between the two partners (EUROPE 10117). The NGO, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) made a spirited appeal on Monday 26 April, however, to have certain provisions in the future free trade agreement (FTA) withdrawn. The NGO believes that these provisions block access to generic Indian medicine for other developing countries....
