06/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 30 March, the European Commission launched a call for tenders for an evaluation of common agricultural policy (CAP) measures applied in the milk and milk product sector. The aim of this evaluation is to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance and coherence of the measures applied to the dairy sector under the common agricultural policy since the CAP reform adopted in 2003. The focus of the evaluation is on market measures and coupled direct payments, as modified by the 2003 CAP reform. The maximum budget attributed to this evaluation project is €600,000.
