Brussels, 15/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - The external trade ministers of the member countries of the Agadir Agreement (Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia and Morocco) will meet in Rabat on 17-18 February, the Moroccan External Trade Ministry announced in a press release on Sunday. Ministers will take stock of trade cooperation a little under three years since the Agreement came into force (on 27 March 2007) and will assess whether it has helped attract increased investment to the zone. Institutional matters, including the possibility of enlarging to include other countries of the southern rim of the Mediterranean (there is talk of Syria, Lebanon, and, certainly, Palestine) will also be discussed.
