Brussels, 09/02/2010 (Agence Europe) -European Council President Herman Van Rompuy has called for “economic government” at European level to better coordinate member states' policies in order to boost growth and employment. His ideas, set out in a three-page paper, will inform the discussions among EU leaders who meet on Thursday 11 February to prepare the ground for a new EU economic strategy.
