19/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - According to a first estimate released by Eurostat on Tuesday 19 January, production in the construction sector decreased by 1.1% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU27 in November 2009, as compared with the previous month. In October, production fell by 0.4% and 0.3% respectively. Compared with November 2008, output in November 2009 was down 8.0% in the euro area and 6.7% in the EU27. (O.L./transl.rt)
