Brussels, 22/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - The Environment Council has called on the European Commission to examine how appropriately Community legislation in force predicts dangers to human, animal and vegetable health from the combined effects of chemical substances which, taken in isolation, would not present any risk at all. If necessary, the Commission will be requested to propose amendments and guidelines.
