Brussels, 08/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - A meeting of the committee of senior officials responsible for the EuroMed process was to be held in Brussels on 14 December to officialise the designation of a secretary general and the statutes of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). This meeting, however, has been postponed until 12 and 13 January 2010, entailing the largely shared view that the process is stuck in the mire.
