17/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The permanent representatives of the member states of the Schengen zone (joint committee) will meet on Wednesday 19 November, to decide whether Switzerland may join the Schengen zone on 12 December (see EUROPE 9781). This decision must then be confirmed at ministerial level, at the forthcoming JHA Council of 27 and 28 November. (B.C./trans.fl)
